Our goal is to foster a workplace where diverse talents thrive.About The RoleWe are currently seeking a Technical Analyst within the ASG Public Sector Complaints Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and progressing complaints received from Public Sector members, whether complaints against XPS or the scheme (Internal Dispute Resolution).The ASG Team is one of XPS Administration’s central services teams. Their main objective is to maintain and strengthen XPS Administration’s processes, ensure XPS and trustees provide a compliant service, enable enhancements to services, promote good quality pensions administration, and provide pensions training. They also provide support to the admin teams on technical pensions and process issues.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as a focal point for technical queries, including compliance with scheme rules, industry regulations and pensions legislation, review of calculationDesign and presentation of training seminars and programmes to scheme members, pensions administration staff or employer’s staff as requiredProduction of office procedures documentation, training manuals and other documentation as requiredAttendance at various user groups as a representative of the company where requiredBuild and maintain good relationships with clients including liaison with system suppliers and other relevant organisationsRaise the profile of XPS Administration in the Public Sector by contributing to local and national forums and debatesEssential Your ProfileDirect, relevant experience of the Pensions Industry, Defined Benefit (DB) schemes and advantageous to have experience in Police & Fire pension scheme administrationGood interpersonal, written and communication skillsStrong organisational, planning and prioritisation skillsDesire to improve standards and develop new procedures and working practicesMust be able to understand and comment on complex legislationSolid awareness of scheme rules or regulations, pensions legislation and how these impact on the business and its systemsEnthusiastic, positive, flexible approach to work and to be a team playerQualificationsPreferably educated at least to ‘A’ level standardSuccessfully progressing CPC/APMI, or deemed ‘qualified by experience’What We OfferEnjoy a competitive salary, annual discretionary bonus, and 25 days’ holiday with buy/sell flexibility.
