Here are some of the perks and rewards:A competitive salary and benefits package (including but not limited to pension plan, bonus scheme, and Life Assurance)Generous holiday entitlement, with option to ‘buy’ or ‘sell’A focus on continued personal developmentPaid time off work for volunteering in the communityAccess to our Employee Assistance Programme which helps promote and support a healthy lifestyleResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll do:As Transport Manager, you will manage and ensure the safety, compliance, and efficiency of our transport fleet and operations, supporting business objectives and regulatory requirements.Conducting risk assessments and implementing driver training plans aligned with business targets and CPC requirementsManaging, auditing, and reviewing transport compliance systems to ensure effectiveness and adherence to operator licence requirementsOverseeing vehicle and trailer safety, roadworthiness, and statutory inspections within maintenance intervalsChampioning fuel and environmental standardsNegotiating transport contracts, pricing, and service level agreementsCollaborating with procurement on supplier management including auditing existing suppliersDemonstrating commercial awareness to improve daily running costs and support growthProactively reviewing transport requirements and presenting opportunities to senior management, including long-term planning of UK&I vehicle requirementsMaintaining and promoting QHSE standards for the transport functionQualificationsFull UK Driver’s LicenseInternational CPC CertificateProven experience and knowledge of transport legislation and fleet complianceStrong leadership and communication skillsCompetent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)LGV Driving License desirableUnderstanding of international transport and customs requirements is a plusFind out more and apply now.Bring your energy.
