You will work closely with Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Nurses to provide excellent care and ensure the well‑being of patients in a friendly, multidisciplinary environment. Key Responsibilities Provide vital nursing care to in‑patients. Restock supplies and maintain high hygiene standards across wards. Assist surgeons and nurses with patient restraint and basic massage & physiotherapy techniques. Run a variety of in‑house laboratory tests. Assist with maintaining ward equipment and facility readiness. Role Requirements Qualifications in Animal Care are preferred; substantial experience in animal handling and husbandry also considered favourably. Demonstrate dedication to professional and ethical standards. Remain calm and focused under pressure with a compassionate and empathetic approach. Strong team player with confident and effective communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and time‑management skills, self‑motivation, proactivity, and initiative. Work Pattern Part‑time position: 40 hours per week across 4 shifts, including a 1:5 weekend rota.
