Level 2 Teaching Assistant Wigan £450 - £525 per week Full-time, term-time only (Monday to Friday 8:30 to 3:30) Immediate start available Long-term role with potential for permanent placement About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a warm and friendly primary school in Wigan. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, helping them to engage in lessons, build confidence and make strong progress within a nurturing primary school environment. Responsibilities Supporting pupils in class, small groups or 1:1 to enhance learning. Assisting the class teacher with engaging primary activities, resources and classroom organisation. Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation and clear expectations. Supporting pupils with SEND and adapting tasks to meet individual needs. Helping with phonics, early literacy, numeracy and learning through play (where appropriate). Ensuring safeguarding and school policies are followed at all times.
