Your new company Hays Education are currently inundated with Level 2 Teaching Assistant positions and have been approached by several schools in the Wigan area who are looking to secure TAs to start on an immediate basis. These job roles are available across both KS1 and KS2 in a mixture of mainstream and SEN schools and will require you to provide additional support to pupils. The current roles on offer include day-to-day, short-time and long-time roles depending on the school, so whatever it is you are looking for, we will have something to suit your needs. This is a great opportunity to experience different schools in the area to find the one that suits you.Your new role In this job role, you will be responsible for helping in both group and 1:1 settings for pupils in KS1 and KS2 and this could be helping with English, Maths, Reading and Writing. Depending on the needs of the school, you may be asked to move around classes, so you will need to be flexible and approachable. It is important for you to work closely with the other teachers and TAs to ensure pupils are progressing, and that work is in line with pupil ability.
