The Governors of Bickershaw Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support the teaching and learning of a pupil in KS1 with Communication and Interaction (CI) needs. This role will involve working 1:1 and in small groups, under the direction of the class teacher. Responsibilities Provide tailored support to a pupil with CI needs, both individually and in small groups. Implement interventions to support social, emotional and behavioural development. Feedback to the class teacher on pupil progress and wellbeing. Work collaboratively as part of a team, while also using your own initiative. Qualifications Experience working with children who have difficulties in Communication and interaction. Experience working with children who have difficulties in Social and emotional wellbeing. Experience working with children who have difficulties in Concentration and motivation. Excellent behaviour management skills, including positive reinforcement and feedback. Good English and Maths skills. Emotional resilience and a non-judgemental approach to supporting students with complex needs. Ability to be flexible, proactive, and caring in response to the child s and teacher s needs. Personal Qualities A team player with strong interpersonal skills. Committed to promoting inclusion and positive outcomes for all pupils. Willingness to learn and adapt strategies to meet individual needs. Salary and Employment Details Salary: Grade 3, 18,212 - 18,790 per annum. 12.85 - 13.26 per hour 32.5 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year #J-18808-Ljbffr
