Job Description Application Developer Wise Employment are recruiting for an Application Developer to join a fantastic company based in Maidenhead. This is a Full Time Permanent Opportunity, where you will be working 9 : 30am – 5 : 30pm, offering a salary of £50,000 a year, potentially higher for the right candidate, with onsite parking This role is initially based on site; and then has the option to become remote. As an Application Developer your responsibilities will be to : Maintain and enhance existing in-house applications Develop new features and tools to agreed requirements Scope, estimate, schedule, and communicate development work Ensure solutions comply with IT security and ISO27001 standards Identify and deliver system improvements Collaborate with the Senior Developer and wider data team To be successful as the Application Developer you will need : C#, .NET Core, OO development, repository pattern, unit testing Windows Forms experience Strong MS SQL Server skills (T-SQL, stored procedures, functions) Database design and development Git or similar source control Debugging, problem-solving, writing documentation PowerShell scripting, API development Microsoft Access (structure, design, VBA) SSRS, SSIS Excel (Power Query, formulas, VBA) Power BI Beneficial: web development Strong communication, time management, and analytical skills Ability to manage small–medium development projects Quick learner, self-motivated, strong team player Ability to support and guide others Helpful: knowledge of Data Protection principles To achieve the higher salary, you will need to demonstrate your ability to meet the key criteria’s of the role by past experience and during the interview process.
