OverviewJob Title: Contract CoordinatorSalary: £27,000-£32,000 per annumContract: Fixed Term ContractType of Employment: Full TimeHours: 40 hours per weekLocation: Mitie, T2 Trinity Park, Bickenhill Lane, Birmingham, West Midlands, England, B37 7ES (Office 1 day per week)Mitie Fire Protection is expanding, and we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Contract Co-ordinator to support the delivery of our national fire protection contracts. This role is central to keeping programmes on track, supporting our operational teams, and ensuring our clients receive a high-quality, reliable service.If you enjoy a fast-paced environment, problem-solving, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be the perfect role for you. What You'll Be DoingCoordinating day-to-day operations across multiple contractsScheduling engineers and arranging site access, RAMS and job packsManaging shared inboxes and responding to client and internal queriesTracking job progress, deadlines and deliverablesUpdating CAFM systems, client portals and internal trackersRaising purchase orders, processing GRNs and supporting finance workflowsProducing compliance packs (photos, reports, certs, evidence logs)Liaising with Contract Managers, Surveyors, Engineers and subcontractorsPreparing reports, spreadsheets and documentation for client meetingsEnsuring all work follows compliance, H&S and internal proceduresSupporting mobilisation and close-out activities across contracts Questions to Ask Yourself Before ApplyingDo you thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities?Can you stay calm, organised and accurate under pressure?Are you able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time?Do you enjoy problem-solving and finding solutions when information is incomplete?Are you confident communicating with clients, managers and engineers?Do you take ownership of your work and follow tasks through to completion?Are you comfortable learning new systems and technical terminology quickly?Do you pride yourself on accuracy and attention to detail?
