Business Support Executive – Data & Content Management Permanent employee, Full-time – UK and Edinburgh Head Office. Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per year. Job Description Who We Are At SmartPA, we don’t just provide support – we transform it. Our mission is simple yet bold: to redefine administrative and PA services through innovative thinking, cutting‑edge technology and an unrelenting pursuit of excellence. Trusted by global leaders in tech, automotive and retail, we’re the engine behind smarter, more efficient operations. With a vibrant, client‑focused culture and a team driven by creativity, no two days at SmartPA are ever the same As we continue to grow rapidly, this is your opportunity to join us on the journey to becoming the most optimised administrative organisation in the world. If you’re ready to challenge the status quo and create meaningful impact, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities and Skills What You’ll Do The Centre of Excellence (COE) is the driving force behind SmartPA, where strategy comes to life. As part of this dynamic, client‑facing department, you’ll be the heartbeat of our business – delivering high‑impact, tailored support to a key client account daily. In the role of Business Support Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing bespoke solutions to a variety of stakeholders. You’ll tackle real challenges, establish meaningful relationships and make a tangible difference to client success. This particular role is assigned to one of our ‘dedicated’ clients, meaning you will be representing our brand, whilst working very closely with a global tech giant. This is a generalised role for someone with a strong organisational streak, and keen aptitude with data and information systems. What Your Day Will Look Like Curate and govern research data: manage the lifecycle of complex, unstructured research datasets, ensuring data integrity and compliance. Coordinate content updates across platforms (e.g., internal knowledge bases, dashboards, microsites, Google Sheets and NotebookLM), working with stakeholders to gather, format, and publish information. Process and clean raw data using tools like spreadsheets, preparing it for analysis or reporting. Develop and document standards, processes, and governance policies for content and data management, covering best practices and system usage. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a high level of quality under tight deadlines. Skills About You You are highly organised, meticulous, and comfortable handling large volumes of information. You have a natural curiosity about how data systems work and are always looking for ways to make processes more efficient. You are a reliable and effective communicator who can translate technical data concepts to non‑technical colleagues. Experience What You’ll Need Your experience is key but your attitude is what sets you apart. Essential: Proven experience in a content management, data entry, or administrative role with a focus on data. Expert proficiency with spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets), including functions, pivot tables, and data validation. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying and correcting data inaccuracies. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of how to simplify data for the end user, allowing them to make quick decisions, whilst working at pace – whether this be through charts and/or summarising in a clean, meticulous way. Desirable: Comfortable and familiar with basic querying and data manipulation. Experience working with a Content Management System (CMS) or a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. Experience with data governance best practices. Familiarity with version control and modern documentation practices. Work Remotely Yes Salary £30,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience) Schedule Monday – Friday. Your working hours will be 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm (UK time), aligned to cover the 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (EST) business day. Job Type Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week) What’s in it for you? At SmartPA we believe in rewarding talent and supporting your growth. Competitive salaries Yearly bonuses based on company, department, and individual performance. Department based incentives. Hybrid/Remote work: Whether you prefer a hybrid model or require remote work due to your location, we’re open to discuss options that work for you 33 days holiday: Because rest fuels greatness.
