Client Relationship Manager - Debt Recovery Flint Bishop is a multi‑award winning, UK top 200 law firm with an excellent reputation in the debt recovery market. Due to significant growth, we are now looking to hire an experienced Client Relationship Manager for our Debt Recovery department. We require a candidate who can assist the Head of Debt Services and the wider senior management team in maintaining and developing good business relationships on behalf of the Debt Recovery department, ensuring the firm always delivers in line with client expectations. Key Responsibilities Maintain and develop a database of existing clients for the debt recovery department, seeking to improve processes and develop the accounts where possible. Demonstrate an understanding of financial and commercial decisions within the allocated account base and be aware of the impact. Work with other business departments to expand cross‑selling opportunities for the firm. Support the audit and quality process in line with client SLAs and KPIs with the wider teams. Create business plans with the allocated accounts and present these at board level. Respond to client queries and requests for information. Attend performance meetings with the clients on behalf of the firm and the debt recovery department. Support client process mapping and best practices. Proactively identify potential client issues and work with colleagues and management to find early solutions. Prepare, deliver and interrogate client data reports within set SLA, making recommendations for improvements. Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Lead on all tender responses and other proposals and present back to clients to secure and retain their business. Generate new leads and opportunities whilst developing relationships with key decision makers. Conduct onsite client visits and meetings where appropriate. Update weekly and monthly (or any frequency requested) client activity reports for meetings with Head of Debts Services and the wider business. Additional Responsibilities Maintain the highest levels and standards of service delivery at all times. Attend any specific training when required. Ensure confidentiality of employees and the Firm’s documentation and information. Create a good working atmosphere and maximise business development opportunities. Carry out additional tasks as required by the Head of Employment and work towards team, departmental and Firm‑wide goals. Undertake any other duties within the competency of the Job Holder as business needs dictate. Ensure all activities comply with the Firm’s Policies, Practices and Procedures. Manage LinkedIn and other social media platform communications on behalf of the team. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise At least significant experience in a client relationship manager role, ideally within a professional services or financial services environment. Excellent communication skills usable at all levels, internally and externally. Evidence of winning key clients within previous roles. High level of commercial awareness adaptable to the legal services sector. Self‑motivated, well‑organised and able to multi‑task and prioritise own workload.
