You'll use data, insight, and influence to align global suppliers to complex project needs, drive joint value creation, and embed robust performance and relationship governance across major national infrastructure programmes.Key Responsibilities :Act as the primary strategic partner for a portfolio of key global suppliers, strengthening collaboration, trust, and long-term valueLead end-to-end supplier relationship management : governance forums, relationship reviews, action plans, and escalation managementDrive supplier performance management, including KPIs, scorecards, and continuous improvement initiativesUse data and analytics (e.g. Power BI) to track performance, identify trends, and unlock opportunities for innovation and cost, quality, and delivery improvementSupport project teams through proactive capacity planning, demand forecasting, and early supplier involvement in engineering programmesIdentify and manage supplier risks, including resilience, ESG, and compliance, putting robust mitigation plans in placeInfluence senior stakeholders to embed best-practice SRM and a culture of collaborative supplier partnering across the organisationAbout You :You're a strategic, relationship-focused supply chain professional who understands that the best results come from working with suppliers, not just buying from them.You'll likely have :Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, or SRM within engineering, manufacturing, or infrastructureA track record of managing key or strategic supplier accounts and driving measurable improvements in performance and valueA strategic mindset with the confidence to make independent, insight-led decisionsStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels internally and externallyWorking knowledge of CIPS principles, supplier performance frameworks, and SRM best practiceWillingness to travel 2-3 days per week for supplier and site engagementWhat's on Offer :£55k-£70k + car allowance & bonusHybrid working with flexible access to regional officesStructured progression towards senior leadershipThe chance to build and mature an SRM approach that genuinely shapes how the business partners with its most critical suppliersA collaborative, forward-thinking team driving real transformation in supply chain strategy and supplier engagementBe part of a team powering progress through world-class supplier partnerships.Apply today to help shape the next chapter of UK engineering excellence.Send your CV to Adam at #J-18808-Ljbffr
