Transitions Team Manager Legal & General’s Institutional Retirement division is hiring a Transitions Team Manager to lead a high‑performing team that onboard new Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) schemes. This is a hybrid working opportunity, allowing you to split your week between home and office. What you'll be doing Leading, coaching and developing a team of Transitions professionals to deliver outstanding service. Collaborating with the Head of Transitions to shape onboarding strategy and business plans. Managing daily operations to meet service levels, contractual obligations and client expectations. Overseeing project delivery, scheme documentation and data validation activities. Driving continuous improvement through process innovation and LEAN methodologies. Ensuring operational readiness and scalability to support business growth. Identifying and mitigating risks while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. Championing customer outcomes and embedding Consumer Duty principles. Qualifications Strong leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop high‑performing teams. In‑depth knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes and transition processes. A pensions qualification such as PMI or CII, or equivalent experience. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to manage complex operations and deliver against strategic goals. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Experience in driving change and continuous improvement initiatives.
