Our UK retirement annuity book stands at an estimated £86.1 billion at 31 December 2023.Across our retail and institutional retirement businesses, we look after more than 1 million customers, around c.700,000 of whom are institutional customers who have had their retirement benefits secured with us.Job DescriptionWe’re currently recruiting for a Transitions Team Manager to join our Award Winning PRT business.As a Transitions Team Manager you will lead a high‑performing team who are responsible for onboarding new Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) schemes into L&G. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape our strategy, drive operational excellence, and make a real impact in a growing and dynamic area of our business.This is a hybrid working opportunity, which means you can split your working week between your home and the office to find a work-life balance that works for you.What you’ll be doing:Leading, coaching and developing a team of Transitions professionals to deliver outstanding serviceCollaborating with the Head of Transitions to shape onboarding strategy and business plansManaging daily operations to meet service levels, contractual obligations and client expectationsOverseeing project delivery, scheme documentation and data validation activitiesDriving continuous improvement through process innovation and LEAN methodologiesEnsuring operational readiness and scalability to support business growthIdentifying and mitigating risks while ensuring compliance with policies and regulationsChampioning customer outcomes and embedding Consumer Duty principlesWho we’re looking for:Strong leadership experience with the ability to inspire and develop high‑performing teamsIn‑depth knowledge of defined benefit pension schemes and transition processesA pensions qualification such as PMI or CII, or equivalent experienceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to manage complex operations and deliver against strategic goalsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detailExperience in driving change and continuous improvement initiativesA collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering great customer outcomesWhatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
