Business Development Representative (HF1302371001) Apprentify is looking for a driven, ambitious individual to join the Business Development team at Derby. This role offers the chance to generate new business opportunities, build strong relationships with potential customers, and grow within a high-performing sales environment. Salary: £27,000–30,000 (performance bonus). Location: Derby, England; Type: Full-time; Seniority level: Entry level. Key Responsibilities Develop a strong understanding of our offering and the value it delivers to customers. Follow up on inbound enquiries to identify and qualify high-value opportunities. Identify, nurture, and qualify prospects from your own target account list. Use outbound sales activities including phone calls, emails, and social selling to generate and qualify meetings. Maintain and manage a pipeline of engaged prospects, converting interest into well-qualified opportunities. Qualifications At least 1 year of B2B sales, BDR, or SDR experience (ideally in a similar environment). Highly organised, goal-driven, and motivated to advance your career in sales. Clear ambition to progress into senior sales roles. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Curious, focused, and committed to achieving strong results. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Experience communicating value and demonstrating business benefits to customers. Resilient, proactive, and driven to continually improve.
