This is a great time to join our team as locally we are transforming our Children’s Centre Service into Family Hub Networks. Our work with children 0‑5 years remains part of our core offer and we will be expanding our service offer to 0‑19 years. You will be able to undertake one‑to‑one work with parents/carers to meet identified needs and deliver evidence‑based programmes, within Family Hubs and family homes. You Must Have a Minimum Of Two Years’ Experience Of Working With Children 0‑5 And Their Families, An NVQ 3 In Childcare (or Equivalent) With Experience, Be a Driver With Access To a Vehicle For Work Purposes And Be Able To Demonstrate Sound Knowledge In The Following Areas: Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults Knowledge of child development and awareness of the importance of early attachments The importance of early intervention when working with families Working in diverse communities and the ability to work in a non‑discriminatory way. Working in partnership with a range of agencies Communication skills, report writing, assessment skills, record keeping and IT skills.
