Job Title: Contract Coordinator Location: HM Naval Base - Plymouth Division: Mitie Defence Here at Mitie we have a brand new opportunity for an organised and established Contract Specialist to play a key role in ensuring Mitie meets all their contractual obligations during the various transitions. You will be supporting the Ministry of Defence (MOD), Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth hand-back process. Role Responsibilities Lead and coordinate contract hand-back activities Work with Mitie teams to ensure asset compliance and readiness Maintain hand-back programme and risk register Ensure accurate documentation (O&M manuals, compliance certificates, maintenance logs) Support condition surveys and lifecycle works Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders Manage updates, risks, and dependencies across the exit lifecycle What We’re Looking For Contract management experience ideally including expiry/transition phases Eligible for UK Security Check (SC) clearance Understanding of PPP models, contract law, and lifecycle obligations Project/programme management experience in secure or defence environments Confident communicator Ability to interpret technical and contractual documentation Full UK driving licence Our market-leading offering provides you with benefits that suit your lifestyle.
