Job Description This role is based from our 240 Blackfriars, London office. Lead the marketing strategy and execution for Data Center World events, the longest-running and leading conference for data centre facilities and IT professionals. As Marketing Manager, you’ll develop and execute strategic omni‑channel campaigns that drive attendance and engagement for this premier industry event series while supporting team initiatives and contributing to overall marketing objectives. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Support the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans for Data Center World events. Contribute to team leadership initiatives and mentor junior marketing professionals as needed. Execute database growth strategies and audience development programs. Analyse marketing performance metrics and provide optimisation recommendations. Support up‑selling and cross‑promotion of relevant products and services to target market audiences. Assist in expanding audience marketing opportunities by managing programs with media partners, industry leaders, bloggers, associations, speakers and exhibitors. Execute marketing automation strategies including personas, segmentation, landing pages, lead scoring, customer journeys and nurture campaigns. Monitor and report on marketing plans, response rates, audience demographics and industry best practices. Collaborate cross‑functionally to support strategy, positioning and key messaging for event and brand. Work closely with Prospect and Client Marketing teams to support revenue opportunities from audiences and vendors. Execute community building and social media strategies that drive engagement, interaction, brand affinity and improve the audience experience. Support content marketing strategy including websites, blogs, gated reports, video, email and images. Coordinate with central marketing and operations teams to support brand, event and campaign initiatives. Support initiatives to enhance the attendee experience at physical events, including orientation, programmes, event app functionality and overall experience design. Stay current with trends and developments in the data centre community, experiential marketing and strategic marketing communications. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have at least 5‑7 years of experience in B2B outbound marketing campaigns with strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively within team environments. Strong collaborative skills with experience working effectively within marketing teams. Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably in events or technology sectors. Ability to analyse marketing performance metrics and provide strategic recommendations. Able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment while balancing strategic, tactical, and analytical responsibilities. Excellent project management and organisational abilities. Strategic thinking with data‑driven decision‑making capabilities. Understanding of the data centre industry and its challenges preferred. Experience with digital marketing, content marketing and social media campaigns. Track record of success in achieving goals through traditional, online and social media marketing strategies. Strong verbal/written communication and project management skills. Self‑motivated with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders. Experience and comfort with data capture and analysis, database marketing and research. Ability to balance tactical execution requirements with strategic thinking. Experience working with email service providers (preferably Eloqua). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook). Bachelor’s degree required. Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally as required. Right to work in the UK.
