Account Manager – UK & Nordic Markets The primary focus of the Account Manager is to shape the company strategy to penetrate the UK & Nordic markets, and to build and maintain relationships with current and potential distributors and clients in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry. Responsibilities Assist the team leader in proposing marketing and sales strategies based on in-depth market analysis. Build and maintain strong relationships with local distributors and key customers, providing timely training and solutions to enhance customer base and brand exposure. Help establish a system for distributor management and evaluation, including assessing potential distributors and setting annual sales goals. Collaborate with the marketing team on related activities such as webinars, seminars, exhibitions, media screening, and promotion platform coordination. Attend industry trade shows and events to expand knowledge and networks. Achieve sales income meeting agreed targets in regional markets. Create and update sales status reports, tracking contacts, leads and confirmed sales through direct and distributor channels. Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree or higher, preferably in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals or related field. At least 2 years of Business Development, Marketing or Sales experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry; overseas market BD experience preferred. Self‑motivated, independent and able to work under pressure with strong time‑management skills. High business acumen, strong data analytical and project‑management skills, and proven negotiation experience. Ability to secure large sales opportunities and conduct market research. Deep technical fluency in biologics, assays, and cell therapy, capable of engaging R&D scientists and translating complex science into value. Experience developing multi‑year account strategies aligned to drug‑development pipelines, building deep account penetration and securing preferred‑vendor status. Strong multi‑level stakeholder relationships across R&D, procurement and C‑suite, with consultative selling that links portfolio to pipeline acceleration and cost efficiency. Expertise in cross‑functional collaboration, negotiation, deal structuring and pipeline forecasting with rigorous CRM discipline.
