To perform all general duties of trained theatre personnel and in addition any duty requiring special skill and ability within the surgical speciality. Person specification Education and Qualifications Completed and achieved ADNS/BA (Hons) Nursing Studies OR Registered Nurse with NMC Registration (for nurses applying) HE Diploma Operating Department Practice or ODP NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 752/7. OR Registered ODP (for ODP applying) Experience Evidence of inter- professional working Completed competencies in Anaesthetics, Surgery & PACU (for ODP applying) Skills Ability to work autonomously Understanding the role of the theatre practitioner Ability to work as an effective member of a team. Effective handling of critical incidents.
