Water Treatment Accounts Manager – Dartford

Job Description A forward thinking and well established water hygiene company that provides expertise in legionella, water treatment and related services across the country is looking for a smart, commercially focused and self-driven Water Treatment Accounts Manager based in the South East. Applications from Dartford, Sutton, Kingston Upon Thames and surrounding areas will be considered. The individual must come from a strong background in chemistry, technical, accounts, sales, engineering, legionella, contracts, operational and management and have a proven track record working within the water treatment/water hygiene industry. Attending relevant training courses in water treatment/water hygiene is desirable. A good educational background, holding a degree or an HND will be beneficial. Must have good communication, client-facing, leadership, organisational and presentation skills. Must be well versed with the water treatment/water hygiene industry and proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package. Responsibilities Oversee staff and ensure they carry out the work effectively and within time‑lines. Deal with contracts and allocate jobs. Manage existing accounts while working to generate new leads. Collate and produce reports and reviews. Get involved in training – for clients and staff, and produce documents related to policies and procedures for water hygiene – legionella. Prepare quotations, tenders and estimates. Visit sites and attend meetings. Build and maintain good rapport with clients/customers. Deal with the company’s client requirements effectively and maintain high standards. Track and report on Key Performance Indicators. Get involved with audits – quality, Health & Safety, etc. Liaise with the sales and finance team. Handle any other issues appropriately and effectively.
