An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HLTA to join our experienced, motivated and caring team at our Federation, which is part of the Hamwic Education Trust (HET). We are seeking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who will provide daily teaching cover across the Junior School, under the direction of the leadership and teaching team. Job / Person Summary The role would involve covering teaching in classes across the Junior school, from Year 3 to Year 6. Lessons would be pre-planned by teachers, and time given for marking and regular training. Our HLTAs provide regular teaching cover across the week, including weekly PPA morning sessions, as well as weekly timetabled afternoon lessons. Our HLTA team are highly valued and well supported by all staff, and are line managed by our Assistant Headteachers.
