Group Compliance & HSEQ Manager Location: London or Milton Keynes (Hybrid) About The Role We are hiring a Group Compliance & HSEQ Manager to join our Risk and Compliance team. In this leadership role, you’ll drive BSI’s global strategy across Health, Safety, Environment, Quality (HSEQ), overseeing the development, governance, and continuous improvement of our management systems. You will serve as the primary advisor to senior leadership on HSEQ risk, regulation, and performance, ensuring BSI continues to meet the highest internal and external standards. Your work will shape the culture of safety, ethics, and accountability across the entire organisation. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of BSI’s HSEQ strategy globally. Act as internal consultant to senior leaders on HSEQ risk. Oversee key aspects of BSI's Corporate Security and Crisis Management activities. Manage and enhance the Group HSE Risk Management Framework, including policies, audits, reporting, and incident investigation. Ensure BSI remains compliant with evolving legislation and regulatory standards. Lead external audits and act as BSI’s point of contact with external HSE bodies. Deliver reporting and insights to Group senior leadership on performance and risk. Promote best practice across the organisation and drive continuous improvement. Coach and grow the capability of the HSEQ function. About You Degree or MSc in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent NEBOSH/IEMA qualifications. At least 10 years of senior experience in HSEQ management. Deep expertise in ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001). Experience in high‑risk environments such as oil & gas or chemical sectors. Strong knowledge of risk, crisis, and corporate security. Proven leadership and stakeholder influence skills, especially at senior level. A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset with the ability to lead organisational change. Benefits Flexible working arrangements. 27 days’ annual leave. Paid sick leave and bank holidays.
