Job Title: Cyber Defence Specialist Location: Uxbridge, United Kingdom Purpose of the Role You will be accountable all element of cyber defence. This role will be part of the IT Infrastructure team, within Pilgrim's Europe. This is an exciting new role being created to take ownership of the European cyber defence roadmap and strategy. This will be a challenging but varied role that will require you to use your tenacity, technical expertise and knowledge to balance strategic solution decisions with day to day cyber defence operations, you will need to be a mentor and escalation route for operational and project and issues. You will provide input into the technical direction of the group working with your peers and colleagues. Key Responsibilities Be responsible for maintaining and proactively managing the European portfolio of cyber defence solutions Ensure robust procedures and practices are developed and maintained driving a culture of cyber safe service excellence Take responsibility for cyber defence systems to ensure alignment to security governance Develop and manage excellent service delivery, working with all teams across IT to maintain customer satisfaction Work with Director of IT Operations, IT Infrastructure Manager and Head of Cyber Security to develop relationships with internal stakeholders Take pro-active ownership of the Cyber Defence strategy, working closely with the internal stakeholders to create, align and execute for: Penetration Testing Security Operations Centre Management Endpoint Detection and Response Security Information Event Management Incident Response Plan Threat Hunting Skills & Experience Required Independent thinking, be a leader with a clear independent thorough process. Ability to explain to finance and non-finance colleagues alike. Able to find new solutions through analytical, interpretive and innovative thinking. Engaging communication: your communication style will engage both financial and non-financial minds. Problem solving; comfortable with ambiguity, you will collaborate to solve complex problems.
