Responsibilities Complete all QC testing to a high standard, ensuring compliance to BS EN Standards and internal protocols. Sample and test the storage tanks in advance of the daily 2pm meeting. Test daily import and production samples as per PFCs. Accurately document and immediately report non‑conformances to Lab management, Production, Operations and Customer Service departments. Monitor and record site effluent waste. Attend the 2pm meeting and be pro‑active with instructions required to operations to maintain performance. Support and provide cover for the emulsion QC role where necessary. Prepare and test samples to ensure blended grades remain compliant to specifications. Complete additional weekly tests on production and storage tank samples as specified in PFCs. Monitor & order consumables, ensuring there is sufficient stock for Technical & Production. General Operations - As required: Manufacture samples as required and arrange distribution. Complete annual UKCA mark testing as instructed prior to year‑end. Participate in internal & external audits. Assist in project work as required. Train staff / external personnel as required. Qualifications and Skills Minimum of 5 GCSE’s including one science at grade 4 or higher. Must be punctual and attentive to detail. Computer literate with competency of Microsoft Office Suite. Must be self‑motivated to be able to work alone and in a team.
