This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Technician to join their fabrication workshop in Newton Abbot, Devon. Youll play a vital part in maintaining exceptional quality standards across a range of steel fabrication projects, contributing to the success of a business renowned for precision and excellence. Were looking for a background in quality control and inspection and must be commutable to Newton Abbot, Devon. Package: £35,000 - Circa £40,000 depending on experience 28 days of holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) Nest Pension Scheme Free onsite parking and immediate starts available. The Quality Technician role: Inspect fabrication work including steel, ensure compliance and sign off to specification. Inspect materials (both goods in and out) for quality and keep detailed records of this. Responsible for inspections, measurements and checks against engineering drawings. Have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to verify measurements. Liaise with various engineering departments Onsite in Newton Abbot, Devon The ideal Quality Technician Candidate: Proven experience as a Quality Technician / Quality Inspector / Quality Control Inspector / Quality Assurance Technician or similar quality background Experience in steelwork, fabrication or metalworking would be beneficial Must be able to commute to Newton Abbot, Devon
