Business Development Manager – EV Charging Company: InstaVolt Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (basic) depending on experience + OTE £70,000 - £90,000. We’re looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing team in the EV charging sector. With curiosity and a passion for developing your skills, you’ll be comfortable spotting opportunities, nurturing leads, and helping expand our presence across the market. What you’ll do: Daily prospecting to develop a network of contacts, attracting new clients to meet company growth requirements Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings Driving engagement with client to ensure swift and efficient completion of leases Ensuring client understand the entire process and required to deploy chargers Preparing and executing tender opportunities Understanding overall sales targets for the business and how they contribute to this Developing plan to deliver agreed sales targets including sales forecasts and financial projections Liaising with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies Producing reports for management Create and maintain working relationships internally to ensure risks, issues and opportunities are managed effectively and swiftly. Attending events such as exhibitions and conferences Required skills and knowledge: Confidence in speaking and meeting new people including stakeholders of large businesses A drive and passion to seek new business opportunities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to build excellent relationships with peers and partners Initiative and good decision‑making skills Well organised Strategic and analytical thinking skills Full UK Driving Licence Required experience: Knowledge of the EV industry and/or real estate industry Experience in selling and growing accounts to meet business demand is beneficial Being able to demonstrate experience and passion for a brand is an advantage Be able to seek new opportunities using tailorable approaches, whilst also being able to adapt to client requirements Experience with prioritising tasks accordingly to meet business requirements Proven experience working in a team and meeting deadlines Flexible style to work across multiple clients on a variety of levels The ability to manage numerous projects and still deliver the business objectives Self‑motivated and able to hit the ground running in an extremely fast‑paced environment Target driven and the ability to perform well under pressure What we offer: Competitive salary – dependent on experience & qualifications Company sick pay (30 days full pay & 30 days half pay per annum) Company EV Car & fully funded InstaVolt charging card 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays Access for you & your family to join our Help@Hand virtual private healthcare app Life insurance at 3 x annual salary from day 1 Admission to pension scheme following successful completion of 3 months employment at 6% matched Ongoing training in career building avenues, health & safety and any other area that will be of benefit to the business and the employee Opportunity to enrol onto our salary sacrifice EV scheme Cycle to work scheme Access to PerkPal platform Quarterly company events Free snacks & drinks in the office Free office parking We’re an equal opportunity employer.
