Overview

The role of the Business Development Manager is focused on developing high value relationships in new accounts and sectors of the Data Storage market. With an estimated compound growth of 12.5% over the next few years, Enterprise Data Storage present a great opportunity and for an ambitious individual.

Responsibilities

The individual will need to have demonstrable experience developing new B2B accounts in technology-based markets, an excellent understanding channel business and rapidly develop pipeline, progress through optimising propositions to customer and close sales opportunities. Specifically, we are looking for a person that will:
Develop new opportunities with new partnersPosition and present our products and services to new customers in context of their market sectorWork at all levels within customer to progress opportunities to successDevelop a new sales contacts and pipeline Engage required Internal resource effectively to develop a high value engagement with new customersOptimize proposals, develop sales engagement and close opportunities.Track and effectively report sales progress and maintain accurate detail in CRMDevelop specific sales campaign and promotional offers to attract new business customersEngage with customer to provide exceptional customer experienceCANDIDATES PROFILE - REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of data storage solutions preferableA highly motivated self-starter who drives to exceed their sales goal each month independently Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skillsGood task prioritisation , time management and organisational skillsAgile commercial problem solver and target focused individualRefined competency working collaboratively in a team to meet customer expectationsUsed to working with CRM tools and excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPointAbility to create and deliver presentations on-line, social media or in person, tailored to meet audience segment focus The ability to Travel throughout the UK/ NEU Region to attend customer meetings, channel meeting and exhibitions relating to key markets, when requiredAbility and enthusiasm for knowledge of emerging and ever changing related technologiesLEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
Building knowledge of a complex, dynamic and cutting-edge storage industryWorking in a regional organization with cultural diversity and high complexity both from a business setup and operations perspective due to international scope and multiple channels Experience working in a multi-national business provide high tech products and servicesEngaging across diverse markets, both in public and private sector
