OverviewThis job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.Job summaryAs part of service expansion, we're offering an opportunity for an experienced Paediatric Audiologist to join the Audiology Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. The post will provide an opportunity to develop experience in complex and advanced Paediatric Audiology in a unique setting, carrying out general Audiology and gaining exposure to complex assessment processes (e.g., APD, BAHA, Microsuction, Vestibular and Electrophysiological testing in line with service need). The department has close links to the Cochlear Implant team and there may be opportunities for exposure. There may also be opportunities to see private patients as part of the department rotation for Senior Audiologists (service requirement permitting). There will be many CPD opportunities (internal & external) and a chance to learn with the unique patient population here.Main duties of the jobYou will oversee the management of a clinical area or act as POC in conjunction with Band 8s, alongside line management responsibilities. Research and project management are desirable. Requirements include a minimum of a BSc in Audiology or equivalent, HCPC/RCCP registration, and post-qualification paediatric experience.
