Base pay range $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr Responsibilities Maintains and promotes safe practices when supporting production and quality by ensuring the proper operation of machinery, consisting of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment (injection molding, thermoforming, secondary equipment, and secondary equipment). Maintenance Technician maintenance duties include performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment and ensuring uptime of multiple systems. Execute mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance, with a strong sense of urgency as required by the role. Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions and comply with NEC standards on wiring and installations. Install equipment from start to finish and adjust functional equipment to optimize performance. Coordinate routine preventive maintenance to control downtime and optimize maintenance resources; maintain maintenance records and communicate irregularities. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical and electrical prints; communicate effectively with vendors and contractors; order parts to support maintenance. Requirements Experience with industrial maintenance is a must (Injection Molding/Thermoforming experience a plus). Using precision tools and equipment to complete assigned tasks. Troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment; applies standard tools and techniques to solve problems. Thorough working knowledge of industrial equipment, its usage, and safety procedures. Self-motivated and safety oriented; takes responsibility for self-performance and manages time and priorities. Demonstrates a positive “Can Do” attitude; works well with others and contributes to team efforts. Flexible schedule and ability to take calls during off-shift hours and weekends. Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Duties Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and corrective maintenance requirements. Maintain equipment such as motors, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, couplings, roller chains, conveyors, and production machines. Follow diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications; troubleshoot and comply with applicable standards. Locate sources of problems by observing devices in operation and consulting information from others; use precision tools to diagnose issues. Remove defective parts, dismantle equipment, and use hoists, cranes, and power tools; welding and fabrication skills are a plus. Install equipment, adjust performance, and control downtime through preventive maintenance. Maintain continuity among work teams by communicating irregularities and corrective actions; maintain records and compliance with safety procedures. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical/mechanical drawings; interact with vendors/contractors; order replacement parts.
