Through system-wide initiatives, coaching, and data-driven strategies, the team fosters patient-centered care, regulatory compliance, and employee engagement to support organizational success.The Quality Performance Improvement Consultant, collects, analyzes and manages data, thereby facilitating performance improvement initiatives designed to meet contract quality metrics. In utilizing these skills, the QPI Consultant facilitates improvement in patient care and operational processes, contributing to the sustainability of the Alliance. TheQPI Consultant supports, facilitates and provides hands on management providing comprehensive oversight of assigned strategic quality improvement initiatives; coordinating staff and colleagues across CHA to meet quality and performance improvement goals. This role will create, analyze and validate worklists needed to support the CHA contract performance measures and work with leadership and staff to develop workflows to ensure improvement and compliance with continuous improvement, assist with record abstraction for performance measurement submissions.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree in a healthcare, business administration, or engineering preferred. Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience in project management, contract quality metrics with improvement, process management skills in a health related field as well as familiarity with medical record abstractions.Lean training preferred.Highly developed interpersonal and professional skills are required in order to interact effectively with providers, staff, and management.Strong experience with project management with proven skills and success in change managementAssessment and goal-setting skills, project/time management skills, and problem solving skills are required.Strong computer skills required, including proficiency in spreadsheets/databases, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word-Intermediate, VisioStrong report writing skills to create, manage and interpret data and worklists to manager quality metricsStrong verbal communication skills to to relay day to day data issues to key stakeholders on performance based on data.Knowledge of contract quality metrics and performance interpretationDemonstrated abilities in PI concepts/processes/tools.Ability to work with statistical concepts and analysisKnowledge and experience with rapid cycle performance improvementAbility to lead, coach and persuade others as needed to accomplish projects.Demonstrated ability and effective organizational skills to coordinate and manage projectsPlease note that the final offer may vary within the listed Pay Range, based on a candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.In keeping with federal, state and local laws, Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) policy forbids employees and associates to discriminate against anyone based on race, religion, color, gender, age, marital status, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
