We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team to support our improvement agenda delivering Quality, Service Innovation Redesign (QSIR) programme across our organisation.

The role will be based within the Improvement and Programme Delivery Team which has responsibility for Project and Programme Management and the delivery of QSIR within our clinical and corporate teams.
This role will involve a blended approach to office/home working dependent on circumstances.
- Ensure a culture of continuous challenge exists, ensuring that progressive solutions, which take into account models of best practice, are incorporated into quality and efficiency improvements
- To utilise specialist knowledge and experience related to the use of network models and improvement science to achieve step changes in quality across complex pathways and systems of care.
- To lead and manage stakeholders fostering a culture of collaboration for the delivery of equitable, high-quality care.
- To foster and promote a culture of innovation, through working in collaboration internally and where required across the local health and social care system.
- To develop Quality Improvement programmes ensuring benefits are tracked.
- To establish and maintain robust and systematic governance arrangements for improvement project activities.
- Using the adopted improvement methodology and core coaching skills to engage teams, help them identify the quality problem, improvement aim and plan for testing, scale up and spread of those change ideas that result in improvement.
- Act as lead specialist on specific projects and ensure successful delivery on time to target.
- Be responsible for ensuring that teams are competent in the implementation of improvement techniques.
- Employ a range of change management, coaching and negotiation skills that enable full participation of team members.
- Influence and motivate teams to adapt to new ways of working to improve service delivery and performance.

**Operational**:
- Lead internally and externally to deliver projects, initiatives and services to time and in a cost-effective way.
- Lead on the implementation of quality and efficiency improvements across a variety of corporate and clinical services
- Ensure a culture of continuous challenge exists, ensuring that progressive solutions, which take into account models of best practice, are incorporated into quality and efficiency improvements
- To utilise specialist knowledge and experience related to the use of network models and improvement science to achieve step changes in quality across complex pathways and systems of care.
- To lead, manage, and maintain credibility with all the key players fostering a culture of collaboration for the delivery of equitable, high-quality care. At times this will include acting as an ‘honest broker’ reconciling conflicting views and interests.
- To keep abreast of national best practice, ensuring this is shared and widespread adoption secured through advanced influencing skills.
- To foster and promote a culture of innovation, through working in collaboration internally and where required across the local health and social care system.
- To develop Quality Improvement programme ensuring benefits are tracked.
- To establish and maintain robust and systematic governance arrangements for improvement project activities.
- To establish and maintain highly effective communication routes in line with the needs of the diverse range of network stakeholder interests.
- Represent the Directorate/Trust at local, regional and national level if and when required to disseminate developments/results from the Improvement programme.
- Using the adopted improvement methodology and core coaching skills to engage teams, help them identify the quality problem, improvement aim and plan for testing, scale up and spread of those change ideas that result in improvement.
