CCTV Control Room Operator at EQUANS Job details Location: National Operations Centre Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire ST4 1AY Salary: £27,594.08 per annum Employment type: Full-time, 42 hours per week, permanent Shift Pattern 24/7 shift pattern - 4 days (Apply online only), 4 off, 4 nights (Apply online only), 4 off Responsibilities Perform a key role in all aspects of the National Operations Centre, managing site alarm activations, including CCTV verification and to facilitate appropriate escalation. When required, respond appropriately to requests through the Facilities Management Helpdesk and QSE Incident Reporting Hotline. Benefits Generous holiday allowance. Qualifications Previous experience within a Control Room, Service Desk or other high call volume environment or experience of working within a customer focused environment. Maths and English GCSE Grade C and above. Excellent working knowledge of IT. Must have experience with the Microsoft Office 365 package including MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel & Word. Experience of contributing to incident management /command and control operations. Previous security or service desk experience and experience / training in fire safety and first aid. Previous CCTV & access control knowledge. An understanding of CCTV operations and equipment. Excellent communication skills, including high standards of written and spoken English. Ability to maintain accurate incident logs and gather evidential information. SIA licensed for Public Space Surveillance (PSS CCTV operations) or willingness to be trained to achieve SIA licence requirements.
