Contract: Permanent Salary: £26,000 – £29,500 per annum, depending on experience. Working pattern: Full‑time – Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Role Summary You will be the first point of contact for inbound customer communication and an integral team member in ensuring that clinical trials and academic sales run smoothly, supporting deployment of hardware and software setup. The role reports to the Clinical Project Director as part of the Operations Team and requires a highly organised, methodical approach. What you’ll be doing Handle inbound customer communication across Academic, Pharma, and Healthcare from sales, science, technical or finance perspectives. Enter contact and site information into NetSuite. Communicate with site personnel to provide troubleshooting support and resolve issues. Maintain Trial Master Files for clinical studies. Ensure equipment and documents for studies, research projects, and internal employees are configured, quality‑checked, packed, and shipped on time. Maintain quality documentation (SOPs, WI, templates). Assist team members with deployment and testing of hardware and EDC software. Raise purchase orders for hardware/stock as needed. Provide data for monthly reports to clients and internally. Support clinical project managers in delivering clinical trials – granting user accounts, reviewing/provision of training, creating study trackers, and project documentation. What we’d love from you Experience in a customer‑service based role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong team player with exceptional organisational skills. A methodical working style with high attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and general IT skills. Experience on project‑based tasks. Thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and adapts to changing priorities. Experience in logistics, including paperwork and supporting shipments. Experience in the academic or pharmaceutical industry, clinical trials, and client communication. Experience with import/export of goods would be ideal.
