Aqua Restaurant Group is home to a unique collection of restaurants and bars in vibrant cities like London, Paris, Hong Kong, New York, Miami and Dubai.At Aqua, we offer passionate culinary and hospitality professionals the chance to grow their careers and explore new opportunities.Where are we located?Our Head Office is on Borough High Street, right next to Borough station.What we bring to the table :Dine with us : Enjoy discounts at all Aqua venuesCelebrate YOU : Take your birthday off and earn additional long service leaveGrow with us : Ongoing training and development to support both your professional and personal developmentFinancial well-being : Manage your pay with ease through Wagestream & enhance your financial knowledgeBreaks : Food provided during your breaks - Restaurant perkWork out : Discounted gym membershipLunch & Learn : Head Office perkShare the Talent : Bring a friend on board and earn £500Your day at Aqua :Preparation of monthly management accounts, Food Cost Analysis and Statutory Submissions.Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure timely workflow is maintained to month-end closure.Business partnering with operational teamsProcess improvement and automationProcessing of daily cash-up sheets, banking and investigation of material cash differences, voids etc.Production of daily / monthly sales reportsAnalysis of monthly sales figures against budget, forecast and investigate variancesAccounting for events, including maintenance of customer accounts and credit control.Accounting for all deposits received.Comparison of cash and credit card receipts to bank receipts, including analysis and investigate and resolve variances.Issue and account for inter-company cross-charge invoices monthlyReconciliation of Inter-company accounts at month-endsPoint of contact for external auditors and group reportingPreparation of budget & forecast schedulesPrepare interim and year-end audit files & supporting schedulesAssist Head of Finance with analysis and ad-hoc reporting as requiredCompile and file turnover information to the Landlords on timeAssist with quarterly VAT return submissions and other statutory submissionsAssist in implementing internal control proceduresProvide financial training for Operational TeamEnsure timely Payments to Trade Creditors and occasional payment processing and intercompany transfersAssist and / or cover for Accounts payable when and if requiredOther duties as requiredWhat we are looking for :Experience of using Sage Line 50 - EssentialExperience in the hospitality industry is preferredStrong Excel SkillsSelf-motivated, organised and fast learnerAbility to meet strict accounting deadlinesMulti-site accounting experienceQualified / Part-Qualified accountant / QBE - ACCA, CIMA or equivalent with at least two / three years experienceWhere there is water, there is life & where there is life, you will find usDive into a world of culinary innovation and memorable dining experiences, where your love for food and hospitality can shine.All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.Aqua Restaurant Group welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and is committed to creating an inclusive work environment.
