Customer Insight and Complaints Officer Sandwell Council invites applications for the Customer Insight and Complaints Officer – Adult Social Care, based within the Customer Insight Team in the Assistant Chief Executive’s Directorate. Professional, communicative, and detail-oriented individuals will undertake customer liaison and lead on complex adult social care complaint investigations in line with the Local Authority Social Services and National Health Service Complaints (England) Regulations 2009. Responsibilities include agreeing complaint action plans with complainants or their representatives, conducting interviews, analysing documentation and data, and producing written responses within agreed timescales. Candidates should demonstrate strong observation, organisational skills, and effective time‑management. Additional duties: Assist in collecting and preparing documentation required to respond to Subject Access Requests, Ombudsman enquiries, and complaints; support the Customer Insight Manager and Customer Feedback Coordinator in administering Adult Social Care feedback. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English language at A*‑C.
