This ethical, sector‑leading firm is seeking an experienced Senior Shift Operations Team Lead/Supervisor to join their team on a full‑time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be a competent operations technician supervisor within a manufacturing, production, or automated environment. As second in command of the day's operations team, it is fundamental that you are able to manage the Safe System of Work while overseeing the operators and multiskilled technicians. Key Duties and Responsibilities will include Managing the Safe System of Work and supervising the operations team. Documenting all site observations correctly, including adherence to the company's Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System and all relevant legislation. Managing the maintenance management system (CMMS). Carrying out regular team meetings and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Ensuring the plant operates within the EPR environmental permit at all times. Ensuring all planned maintenance is completed and recorded via the CMMS. Inducting and managing your own team as well as external contractors. Issuing Permits to Work and ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to onsite. Requirements Previous experience within a recycling, manufacturing, or industrial environment. Strong communication skills and evidence of management duties. Experience monitoring a site with SCADA systems. Strong understanding of health and safety practices. Understanding of the use of CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System). Hold relevant Safety Qualifications (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH).
