We are recruiting for a IT service desk manager to join a leading managed IT services and telecoms business specialising in M365, hardware, telecoms, cyber security and consultancy.

The IT Service desk manager role is based out of the Liss, Petersfield office and is responsible for managing a team of 6 1st and 2nd line technicians who support SME clients with inbound IT issue resolution.

In addition the IT service desk manager is responsible for implementation and migration of M365 from exiting suppliers.

You would be expected to identify areas for improvement and how IT service delivery can meet future IT requirements, and you would build some great relationships with business stakeholders - as you would be in a vital, senior operational position.

This is an office-based role with 5 days in the office each week so proximity to Liss, Petersfield is integral for a successful applicant

**Responsibilities of the IT service desk manager role**
- Manage a team of 6 1st / 2nd line technicians including implementation / management of KPIs and SLAs
- Implement and train on excellent standards and practices to enable excellent customer support of M365
- Manage and support SME clients I.T. hardware and network
- Manage and support our clients I.T hardware, software and network infrastructure
- Onboarding new clients
- Build rapport with new, existing and potential clients
- Provide first class technical and server support to client accounts at all times
- Ability to keep up to date with new technologies and training the team in these areas
- Monitor the departments performance and reporting through KPIs
- Be the escalation point for clients and technicians
- Work with the other department managers to help plan and build the company into the best company in the area.

**Experience**
- 5 years plus experience within the I.T support industry
- Previous experience in varied I.T and client environments
- ITILv4 trained
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Server 2003 to date
- Thorough knowledge of office 365 (support, implementation and migration)
- Ability to work productively within a team
- Being forward thinking and innovative
- Ability to build working relationships with clients
- Must be able to drive to attend to call outs - Company pool cars provided
- Embrace responsibility of being a key holder
