**The role**

This role has been created to support Connect2Hampshire's (the Partnership) rapid expansion and growth of its core services to both its shareholders and external clients.

Duties include ensuring that the business is operating effectively, training, supervising administrative, and customer service personnel and providing business support for the entire business and for the Business Manager.

As Business Support Manager this role includes:

- **Customer-centric approach**:Supporting business performance and customer satisfaction dealing with first line escalation through the customer service and administrative teams.
- **Internal and External customer**: A bridge between the resourcing functions, technical teams, quality assurance & compliance, and customer satisfaction, working with stakeholders to ensure we achieve the Partnership's vision and customerexpectations.
- **Project documentation**: Supporting the Commercial Services Group Projects, Process and Data Officer in the preparation of all project documentation for sign off by management at both Partnership and customer level.
- **Reporting**:Preparing and reviewing business reports for the Business Manager.
- **Supervision**: Hiring, training and line management for customer service and administrative personnel.
- **Office management**: General office management support to the Partnership and Business Manager.

**Key Duties**
- Hiring, training and supervising customer service and administrative teams.
- Regular evaluation of customer service and administrative teams performance, implementing improvements.
- Ensuring conformance to best practice operating manuals and end-to-end processes, liaising with the Commercial Services Quality Assurance & Compliance team to make improvements and changes as required.
- Delegate specific projects to the customer service and administrative teams.
- Act as liaison between customer service and administration teams and senior management.
- Prepare and review regular and ad-hoc business reports for the Business Manager.
- Prepare and review the monthly business Assurance and Risk report for the Executive.
- Working with the Business Manager ensure safe practice working across the business.
- Act as first aider and fire warden as required.
- Complete new starter forms and request for equipment for all new employees across the business.
- Performing inventory and ordering of office supplies within budget.
- Setting up and taking notes at business and customer meetings, including quarterly performance reviews, business improvement meetings and acting as deputy to the Partnerships Executive support.
- Assist the Business Manager with organisation of schedules, management of personnel records, and general payroll queries, liaising on behalf of the Business Manager with the Commercial Services HR department.
- Other duties commensurate with the level of the role as directed by the Business Manager or their delegate.

**What you need**
- Business Management and Supervision (leadership)
- Familiar with Business Administration and HR software
- Proven experience of report writing, turning information into an effective summary
- Understanding of the recruitment agency industry
- An excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft packages including Excel to intermediary VLookUps and Pivot Tables and PowerPoint (or other presentation tools)
- Experience of set up and management of meetings including effective note taking
- Some experience of administration of projects including stakeholder management and risk management, action planning tracking and reporting
- Understanding of Health & Safety and Data Protection laws
