Our client, based in Exeter is a well renowned IT and Telecommunications business with a national client base. The business is experiencing tremendous growth and is currently looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager in Hampshire, to join theirsales department on a full time permanent basis. As an integral member of the sales team, your primary responsibility will be to obtain new clients to increase revenue from sales as well as identifying new business opportunities from the existing client base.This is a field-based role that offers a lot of autonomy and flexibility. **Your Responsibilities**:

- Meeting monthly new business targets by selling services to existing and prospect clients.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for other departments
- Prepare and present powerful, persuasive presentations to demonstrate effective solutions to client requirements
- Build and submit accurate solutions and contracts
- Effectively manage contract negotiations and close new business deals
- Generate new business through prospecting calls, networking, social media platforms, and referrals
- Constantly update your knowledge on company products and services to aid personal development

**Your Skills**:

- Strong B2B sales experience
- Ability to communicate at executive level
- Excellent rapport-building skills

- Experience within the telecoms industry would be advantageous
