As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will be closely working with our Supply Chain Manager and Purchasing Assistant to support the day-to-day procurement challenges, assisting in managing strong relationship with suppliers and actively making a real impact within our business delivery and distribution department by placing, tracking and amending orders in line with delivery expectations and budgets.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience in administration or procurement and would like to evolve their career into the Supply Chain department. We are looking for someone who is eager to develop their skills through training and development within Insensys and become a specialist in the field.
**Job Responsibility**
- Converting requisitions into Purchase Orders efficiently and accurately
- Managing the purchasing inbox, escalating urgent requests and completing order confirmations
- Operating the SAGE System to raise and manage purchase orders
- Supporting on purchasing and accounts payable systems to create greater efficiencies
- Expediting requirements and ensuring that delivery to site is complete and on time
- Liaising with suppliers to track, negotiate and complete purchasing contracts, according to business requirements
- Processing of Supplier approvals and Approval database maintenance
- Preparation of documentation for authorisation/approval
- Understanding and completing necessary documentation in a professional manner
- Collation of data for reports, Data Management and project support
- Contribute to decisions on processes and logistics planning to achieve on time delivery, best quality and cost efficiency
- Ensure business continuity by closely working with production and engineering departments
