**Position Overview**

Based within the Naval Stores at HMS Collingwood, we are looking for a versatile Stores Administrator with the ability to provide a broad and flexible procurement service to the Armed Forces (predominantly the Royal Navy). Employed as an Administrator with specific responsibilities, there will be the potential to rotate through various elements of professional tasks when required to meet the needs of the business. Training can be provided, where appropriate.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Demand specialist equipment and stores.
- Monitor and Record equipment and stores transactions.
- Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant stakeholders on specialist equipment and stores which have been placed.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders, promoting customer service excellence.
- Communicate any problems arising from day-to-day activities that may impact the business operations to the users.
- Undertake any additional tasks as determined by the Line Manager, including leading on change to meet the emerging needs of the business.

**What we are looking for**
- Proven track record of delivering quality administration and service with customer-facing experience.
- Ability to adapt to short notice changes to requirements and deadlines.
- Good standard of education, preferably grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
- Occasional local travel to work at other sites to provide absence cover as necessary.

Proof of right to work in the UK essential

The Contract operates a 37.5-hour working week between the hours of 0730 and 1700 Mon to Fri only. The current working hours allow for an early finish on a Friday.

Required to wear approved company work wear.
