**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced database developer to join a rapidly expanding company. Our client are currently on a strong growth trajectory and require a technology leader to help build and develop quality cloud-based products for ourcustomers.

This role will be based in our clients Stevenage Head Office full-time. A hybrid role would be considered with a minimum of 2 days a week in the Stevenage Head Office with the remaining days remote working -
You must already hold the right to work inthe UK

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
Main Responsibilities for the Role Include:

- Line management of other development team members
- Responsible for troubleshooting and problem-solving during development to support other team members
- Guide the development and adoption of new technologies while ensuring the support of existing technologies and efficient and cost-effective development
- Implement and maintain Data Protection Policy and Procedure

The
MUST HAVE
Skills
- Previous experience of line management within an Application Development environment
- Experience code environments: Angular, JavaScript, WEB APIs
- A good understanding of code versioning, especially GIT
- In depth experience of using MS SQL Server
- Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on projects
- Practical experience developing code and ensuring a high availability service
- Experienced in the usage and implementation of webservices
- A good understating of different development code environments and the ability guide technology usage while ensuring the maintenance of legacy code

Not Essential but would be an Advantage
- Be familiar with Agile development methodologies
- Hold a development qualification e.g., relevant degree or certification such as Microsoft Certification

As this role will include access to learner data, and as part of our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults, an Enhanced DBS check will be requested in the event of being offered a position with us.
