An exciting and innovating training and technology company are currently expanding and have had a new opportunity to join their Senior Leadership Team as an Application Development Manager. The role is based in Hertfordshire with the opportunity to workfrom home 3-4 days a week, office based 1-2 days a week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced developer to join a rapidly expanding company. This business is on a strong growth trajectory and requires a technology leader to help build and develop quality cloud-based products for our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Line management of other development team members
- Guide the development and adoption of new technologies while ensuring the support of existing technologies and efficient and cost-effective development
- Responsible for troubleshooting and problem-solving during development to support other team members
- Implement and maintain Data Protection Policy and Procedure
- Always maintain confidentiality in adherence with data protection legislation
- Promote a culture of customer service excellence and continuous improvement

**Requirements**:

- Experience of line management
- Experience code environments: Angular, JavaScript, WEB APIs
- A good understanding of code versioning, especially GIT
- In depth experience of using MS SQL Server
- Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on projects
- Practical experience developing code and ensuring a high availability service
- Experienced in the usage and implementation of webservices
- A good understating of different development code environments and the ability guide technology usage while ensuring the maintenance of legacy code
