We’re looking for a First Line Manager to join us at our London Gateway site, working within our warehouse you will lead a high performingteam of flexible and engaged colleagues, who focus on always delivering operational excellence.

This is a permanent, full-time role working a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern from 07:00 to 19:00.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,654 per annum.In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Carry out the day-to-day management of a team of warehouse colleagues, managing performance, setting KPI’s and driving continuous improvement
- Ensure effective communication is delivered to colleagues and management teams on a daily basis
- Focus on colleague development by implementing a consistent appraisal process
- Take responsibilities for Health and Safety and lead by example in order to ensure consistent compliance

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast paced warehouse environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation
- Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office
