**What you will be doing**
The QA Lead is responsible for the Quality Assurance and development of Retail L&D specific accreditations and standards. The incumbent will support the Learning Performance Manager maintain and build delivery and content consistency across the divisional delivery teams, including management development, National Core offer, and division specific requirements. **The role acts as ILM Head of Centre**, assuring standards set out by the awarding body and assisting the management development facilitators with their continued professional development, liaising with relevant teams and stakeholders to maintain wider external standards, eg Ofsted.
The incumbent will schedule regular reviews with delivery teams, providing detailed feedback and quality coaching to improve our standards, impact, and value to the partnership, providing trends and insights to the Learning Performance Manager to implement and monitor development plans where appropriate.
- Carry out regular quality assurance in line with the key expectations and standards of relevant bodies, such as ILM and Ofsted
- Execute quality improvement testing and activities
- Create and maintain reports, policies, and procedures to meet standards of awarding bodies and reflect procedural changes
- Work closely with the Divisional delivery teams to drive continuous improvement
- Support with any external visits from awarding organisations
- Create open communication with key stakeholders to inform and update, building trust and respect by creating strong relationships that allow for healthy debate and influential discussion.
- Create a people centric environment with performing teams that have clear direction on career development and are rewarded in line with performance

- Retail L&D experience
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Meticulous and diligent when reviewing policies and procedures
- Effective organisational & time management skills
- Proven record of achieving targets
- People relationship, coaching and mentoring experience
- Experience of creating and managing department budget and demonstrate commercial ability to identify and implement areas for cost saving.
- Ability to influence key stakeholders and support change
- Clean driving licence
