The Client:
A Pre-Clinical CRO, providing early-stage, pre-clinical drug discovery services to Biotech, Pharma and Academic Research Institutes across Europe. Their services include in-vivo & in-vitro research models and services that support drug development & discovery across a range of therapeutic areas including; Immuno-Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Cardio-vascular diseases, metabolic disorders, Inflammation and autoimmune.
The Role:
Due to continued growth in the UK, they are now looking to add to their UK Sales team in the North of the UK. You will represent the company's products & services in the North of the UK, and identify new partnership opportunities with Pharma, Biotech, and Academic Research institutes.
- Responsible for defining & executing commercial strategy for the region.
- Maintaining existing accounts and prospecting new customers within Academia, Biotech, and Pharma.
- Maintains and develops partnerships with national key opinion leaders.
- Contributes to the development of partnerships and participates in conferences, medical and scientific meetings, congresses & symposiums.
- Approx 3 days of travel in the field per week.
Qualifications:
- Minimum BSc or MSc in Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Biology or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in sales, selling services or products to the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel throughout the territory.
