DescriptionFind out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below.We are looking for a talented Transport Team Leader to join our team specialising in Logistics for our Transportation department in Daventry, United Kingdom.This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential to become permanent. Working hours are Monday to Friday on a weekly rotating shift: 7:00am–3:00pm and 2:00pm–10:00pm (including shift allowance).In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Manage a team of up to 16 people, providing leadership, guidance and escalation support.Oversee Export and Inbound shipping processes, including booking equipment, documentation, and customs clearance.Ensure adherence to SOX, trade compliance, and all regulatory requirements.Attend key stakeholder meetings, facilitating smooth communication between senior management, internal teams, and external partners.Prepare and analyse KPI reports, documents, and dashboards that inform strategic decision‑making.Work effectively with time‑sensitive and changeable schedules, maintaining flexibility and accuracy under pressure.Identify and drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and service quality.Safeguard confidential records and files, ensuring security and discretion at all times.ResponsibilitiesTo be successful in this role, you will need the following:Excellent attention to detail — quality control is critical in logistics and compliance.Strong organisational and time‑management skills to balance multiple priorities effectively.Previous transportation/logistics experience with a solid understanding of shipping processes.Good computer background with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office Suite.QualificationsEducation/Experience:Significant work experience in administrative support, logistics, or related fields.Familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, trade regulations) and stakeholder management. xwwtmva Additional training or certifications in business administration or logistics are preferred.Job LogisticsOrganization Cummins Inc.Role Category Off-site RemoteJob Type OfficeReqID 2422082Relocation Package No100% On-Site No
