Location: Daventry Salary: £12.21 per hour (Overtime £15.23 per hour) Shift: Monday to Friday 11:00 - 19:30 Key Responsibilities: - Understand transport and client requirements. - Prepare orders and build loads for efficient transport. - Address client queries professionally via email and telephone. - Identify and plan the most suitable routes and transportation methods. - Arrange timely transport to meet customer KPIs. - Prepare, issue, and verify transportation documents. - Track shipments throughout the journey as necessary. - Build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients. - Perform administrative tasks, including data entry and filing transport documentation. - Communicate effectively with the warehouse team to maintain accurate transport data. - Undertake any other tasks as required. Skills Required: - Strong customer service skills. - Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently. - Excellent timekeeping abilities. - Proficient in PC use, including Windows Office and experience with inventory systems
