A fantastic opportunity to join a global leader in electronics and metals recycling as a Transport Planner, based in their office in Daventry, you will be tasked with planning driver's routes on a daily basis across the area, liaising with customers andother depots. This role offers a day shift and the opportunity for progression in a growing team.

**Description**

The role of Transport Planner will involve the following:

- Working in the transport team as a Transport Planner.
- Coordinate with drivers and customers regarding collections.
- Improve the transport flow and quality of service.
- Liaise with other depots within the company.
- Effective coordination with external contractors.
- Ensure delivery and collection issues are dealt with proactively within an accurate and timely manner.
- General tasks within the transport office as required.

**Profile**
- Previously worked in a Transport or Logistics role.
- Have a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background.
- Experience dealing with various carriers.
- Will be able to co-ordinate the team.
- Have the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Good communication skills
- Motivation to progress within the company
