If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Neonatal Nurse at a prestigious hospital in Scotland. Position Overview: As a Neonatal Nurse, you will play a crucial role in caring for premature and ill newborns in our neonatal unit. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, you will provide specialised care to infants and support to their families during what can be a challenging time. Your responsibilities will include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing education and emotional support to parents. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct nursing care to neonates following established protocols and standards of care. Monitor and assess the health status of newborns, including vital signs, feeding, and respiratory status. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with physicians, neonatal nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans. Educate and support parents in caring for their newborn, including breastfeeding support and infant care techniques. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records. Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the UK. Previous experience in neonatal nursing is required. BLS and NLS certification required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
